BACHELOR IN INTERNATIONAL HOTEL MANAGEMENT – VATEL HO CHI MINH

1. Admission requirements

2. The program’s entrance exam process

• Round 1: English proficiency test: Submit with IELTS 5.5 (equivalent to B2) or take an English exam organized by the school.
• Round 2: Industry suitability test (personality quiz)
• Round 3: Academic motivation interview with admissions committee. 

(The entire interview process is conducted in 100% English. )

3. Training time:

3 years 6 semesters (100% taught in English), 3 compulsory internships (year 1 and year 2: 4 months, year 3: 6 months)

4. Qualifications:

 Manager en Hôtellerie Internationale (Bachelor’s degree in International Hotel Management) from Vatel International Hotel and Tourism School.

4. Tuition fee: 119.00 0.000VND/ year (excluding uniform and insurance)

5. Training Roadmap  

• First year: Students will be taught about Marketing, Human Resource Management, Management, understanding different cultures. At Vatel restaurant, students will practice restaurant operations, high-class kitchens, learn how to arrange banquets, handle situations.
• Second year: with new subjects such as Company Law, Tourism Economics, students will practice professional skills at Vatel’s partner hotel, as part of a practical application course as well as get acquainted with the multi-level management model of a 5-star hotel.
• Third year: Students will be focused on developing skills such as analysis, application, knowledge to strategize as well as make first decisions. This is considered the focus of the school year.

Students who complete a Bachelor’s degree with a graduate thesis (establishing and defending a scientific research topic or business model).

6. Marco Polo Exchange Program 

The program is dedicated to Vatel students with good academic achievements (GPA of at least 13/20) in year 1  have the opportunity to choose 1 of the schools of VATEL system to study and practice in year 2 with constant tuition fees (tuition fees of Vatel HCM).
