[HTV9] Digital Art Program – A potential direction for Gen Z who love art & technology
At HSU, students will gain knowledge from the basics of painting, color, and composition to advanced digital subjects, 3D software, visual effects; at the same time approach to the concepts of creativity, idea development, marketing; Subsequently, their skills are applied in fields such as animation, gaming, cinema, advertising, and publishing.
Program Introduction
With the rapid advancement of the 4.0 era, the design major faces increasingly significant creative challenges. The art element no longer stops at traditional materials but adapts to innovative presentations in space, interactivity, and augmented realities like VR and AR.
The Digital Art Program was developed to align with the strategic goal of creating a technology-driven university. Students will learn the basics of painting, colors, composition, and lines, progressing to digital painting, 3D software, and visual effects. They will also explore creativity, idea development, marketing, and branding, applying these skills to animation, games, film, advertising, and illustration publications.
