HSU AND ACHIEVEMENTS IN ACCOUNTING – AUDIT

Hoa Sen University (HSU) has been a partner of the British Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for more than 10 years. HSU has also been a trusted confederate of ACCA to train ACCA’s accounting and auditing program for many years.

Since 2015, HSU’s Accounting Program has been exempted from 4 subjects by ACCA from F1 to F4. Currently, HSU students will be exempted from 8 ACCA subjects when graduating from the Top-Up Accounting Program, which is a joint venture between HSU and DMU, including:

F1 – Business & Technology

F2 – Management Accounting

F3 – Financial Accounting

F4 – Corporate and Business Law (UK)

F5 – Performance Management

F6 – Taxation (UK)

F7 – Financial Reporting

F9 – Financial Management

In April 2022, ACCA, VACPA, and HSU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on training for the Certificate of International Financial Reporting (CertIFR) for the purpose of supporting the application of Financial Reporting Standards. International Finance Corporation (IFRS) and the development of the accounting, auditing, and financial sector in Vietnam.

Recently, at ACCA’s 20th anniversary of operation in Vietnam, HSU was one of the few universities honored to be awarded the Trophy by ACCA, symbolizing a successful and sustainable partnership.

It is hoped that the trust that the cooperation between these two parties will be more and more sustainable to jointly provide the society with talented accountants and auditors who are competitive in the region and the world, contributing to promoting push Vietnam’s Accounting – Auditing industry to integrate into international accounting.
