With the orientation of internationalization, Hoa Sen University and the American Organization of Management Accountants (IMA) signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement, promoting intensive training programs.
With the desire to improve the quality of accounting-audit training in an international direction, recently, the Faculty of Finance and Banking of Hoa Sen University (HSU) and the Institute of Management Accountants of America (Institute of Management Accountants) – IMA) signed a cooperation agreement (MOU) in the online form. The handshake between HSU and IMA is expected to be a positive first step, promoting in-depth cooperation on accounting and auditing training programs, and at the same time expanding career opportunities for students in the industry.
Shake hands with prestigious professional organizations
Through the cooperation, HSU’s accounting and auditing students have the opportunity to study specialized subjects and take the exam for the International Certificate of Management Accountant (CMA) issued by the IMA organization. In addition, the two sides also promote the student experience with seminars, training sessions, and research development, thereby providing many opportunities for learning and gaining experience through practical activities. Dr. Phung Thai Minh Trang – Dean of Finance and Banking Faculty of HSU – spoke at the signing ceremony.
Ms. Do Thi Hong Ha – Vice Dean of Finance – Banking Faculty and Director of Accounting Program – shared: “With the orientation of promoting the quality of training in accounting and cooperating with prestigious professional organizations in the world, Ms. The agreement marks HSU’s first handshake towards quality American-standard education for the field of management accounting.”

Within the framework of the signing ceremony, the HSU Faculty of Finance and Banking also organized an online seminar “The importance of accounting in corporate governance and accounting career opportunities in the 4.0 era”, with the participation of representatives of IMA in Singapore and many business guests from Smart Train educational organization and school representatives.
Training human resources for accounting – quality audit
The bachelor’s program in Accounting at Hoa Sen University is recognized by the American ACBSP international accreditation standards. The materials in the program are referenced from prestigious universities in the UK and USA as well as documents from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
All subjects are taught 100% in English, helping students to work in a professional global environment after graduation.
