The Faculty of Banking and Finance was officially established on January 4, 2021, formerly known as the main Department of Financial Accounting, under the Faculty of Management Economics (established in 1999).
The Faculty has the mission of training academic knowledge and practical skills in the fields of Accounting – Auditing, Real Estate Finance, and Financial Technology (Fintech). Members of the Faculty are a strong team of PhDs and Master’s degrees holders who have undergone advanced education from the US, UK, France, Australia, New Zealand, Japan,… at prestigious domestic universities. Moreover, they have also held many key positions in banks, securities companies, auditing firms, large enterprises, and are representative of many different industries in their area of expertise. Therefore, the lively curriculum with solid knowledge in addition to rich and easy-to-understand practice has provided students with a solid and up-to-date foundation of professional knowledge about the accounting profession – Test math, Finance Banking, Contemporary Real Estate, Financial Technology (Fintech) career skills, decision-making abilities, and practical experience needed to succeed in the workplace globally, contributing to Vietnam’s economic and financial growth and community development.

Originating from the actual needs of businesses, the academic programs of the Faculty have been built on the basis of reference to advanced training programs from universities in developed countries. All of the Faculty’s reference materials are used from foreign documents. At the end of 2015, the Faculty’s training programs including Accounting and Finance – Banking were officially recognized by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) of the United States as meeting quality standards education. This is also a great effort of the pedagogical team of Hoa Sen University to provide learners with a high quality training program.
