The Signing Ceremony of Cooperation Between Hoa Sen University and ALPHA Book Joint Stock Company

On October 12, 2021, at Hoa Sen University, the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Alpha Book Joint Stock Company (Alphabooks) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in education and donation of Harvard Business Review (HBR) bookshelves. Both parties agreed to collaborate in university and postgraduate education, creating opportunities for the development of culture and knowledge dissemination to students, learners, contributing to enhancing the quality of university and postgraduate education and creating abundant and quality human resources to meet the practical requirements of society.

At the signing ceremony, Alphabooks also donated the Essence and HBR bookshelves to the university library, including official Vietnamese editions compiled and published by Alphabooks. During this event, the two entities engaged in lively and interesting discussions revolving around the topic of reading culture in the university and postgraduate environment. Hoa Sen University and Alphabooks also hope to spread the joy of reading and plan to organize events connecting readers and introducing knowledge from classic bookshelves to the student community.

Starting from the academic year 2021, the Postgraduate Education Institute of Hoa Sen University will incorporate some content from HBR into the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program and develop teaching activities based on case studies. Representative of Hoa Sen University, Dr. Doan Minh Chau, Director of the Postgraduate Education Institute, shared: “With the case studies from HBR, students will have the opportunity to access, research, and debate to come up with solutions to real-world business problems from leading global enterprises. We believe that the MBA program with its practical approach and case study-based learning method will help students hone their decision-making skills from the perspective of managers.” The Postgraduate Education Institute and Alphabooks will organize knowledge-sharing activities with reputable experts and speakers in the industry to introduce the HBR bookshelf to students.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Hoa Sen University offers training in four specialized fields: Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing Management, and Logistics Management.
