On March 29, 2022, the Postgraduate Training Institute, Hoa Sen University, in collaboration with the People’s Committee of Thu Duc City, organized a training session for Thu Duc City officials on the topic: ‘Utilizing and Managing Personal Images on Social Media

To enhance the cooperative relationship between Hoa Sen University and Thu Duc City, while also improving the skills of city officials, the Postgraduate Education Institute of Hoa Sen University, in collaboration with the Thu Duc City People’s Committee, organized a training session for city officials on March 29, 2022.

During the training session, the speakers shared on the following topics:

• Effective communication in the workplace – Dr. Dương Ngọc Dũng – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities – HSU.
• Utilizing and managing personal image on social media – Dr. Đoàn Minh Châu – Director of the Postgraduate Education Institute – HSU.

In the specialized session, the speakers discussed the importance of communication in life, in strategic management activities, and how to achieve effective communication. Additionally, city officials exchanged strategies for using and managing personal image on social media platforms.

Speaker introductions:

Dr. DƯƠNG NGỌC DŨNG

• Vice Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities; Director of the Philosophy Program at Hoa Sen University.
• Holds a Master’s degree in East Asian Studies from Harvard University, USA in 1995, and a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from Boston University, USA in 2001.
• Has taught Marketing, Human Resource Management, and Intercultural Management at Paris Graduate School of Management.

Dr. ĐOÀN MINH CHÂU

• Director of the Postgraduate Education Institute – Hoa Sen University.
• Has over 6 years of living and working experience in Japan and over 10 years of experience in the fields of Communications and Marketing.
• Is committed to the training philosophy of “Knowledge developed on the basis of creative collaboration and sharing.”
