Logistics activities and supply chains play a crucial role in all economic activities, becoming increasingly important for the competitiveness of manufacturing and service sectors, as well as the overall economy. According to statistics from the Vietnam Logistics Business Association (VLA), the logistics industry in Vietnam has been growing at a rate of approximately 14-16% in recent years, with a scale of about USD 40-42 billion per year. Moreover, the logistics market in Vietnam is highly regarded, ranking 64th out of 160 countries in terms of logistics development and fourth in ASEAN after Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
Free trade agreements, trade expansion policies with the world, along with the explosion of e-commerce, offer many opportunities for the growth of the logistics industry, creating fertile ground for many enterprises to exploit. This demonstrates that the potential for developing logistics services in Vietnam is significant, but the competition is also fierce.

Training high-quality management personnel in the logistics industry is now considered essential. However, logistics is a complex process involving multiple stages and activities. Only by understanding the fundamental knowledge of logistics can one apply the relevant knowledge to optimize costs, increase productivity, and thereby enhance the competitive value of products and services in the market, which is an urgent requirement for managers operating in diverse and extensive distribution systems.
Training personnel with deep expertise and providing comprehensive practical skills is a common requirement for all organizations and enterprises in the logistics field in Vietnam. To meet market demand, the Postgraduate Education Institute of Hoa Sen University has developed the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program – Logistics specialization to help students update their foundational knowledge of business management while supplementing in-depth knowledge in the field of logistics.
Applied Orientation Program
All master’s programs at the Postgraduate Education Institute of Hoa Sen University are designed with an applied master’s approach, where the curriculum content is always updated according to the latest changes in the field. In this program, students will delve deeper into planning and managing the supply chain.
With typical courses such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics Solution Design, Warehouse and Distribution Management, and Hazardous Cargo Transportation Management, students will be provided with in-depth knowledge of each stage from the starting point to the end of the supply chain.
By enrolling in the MBA program – Logistics Management, students will be equipped with knowledge of management, design, and business of supply chains to become experts working in multinational corporations, consultants, or entrepreneurs after graduation. Additionally, students will also be updated on e-commerce, big data, and entrepreneurship during the learning process to keep up with modern trends.
With the program framework oriented towards application, designed over 18 months, students will have the opportunity to enhance their professional knowledge and be equipped with problem-solving skills and flexible application of theory in real-world environments. Moreover, to motivate learners to maximize their creativity and self-study spirit to find optimal solutions for specific professional fields, students will be challenged to solve case studies from leading businesses in practice.
