Hoa Sen University Successfully Organizes the Master of Business Administration Thesis Defense – Council Meeting on October 28, 2021
Today, on October 28, 2021, the Postgraduate Institute of Hoa Sen University successfully organized the thesis defense ceremony for five master’s students specializing in Business Administration. We proudly introduce and congratulate the New Masters of Hoa Sen University!
With the dedicated guidance of experienced academic lecturers and practical knowledge, the master’s theses of the Business Administration students were meticulously completed as a result of their diligent study and research efforts. New Master Nguyen Hong Huan, a student of MBA Batch 6 and currently the Product Director of Hellojob, shared his pride: “I am very happy and satisfied to have completed today’s defense session. Throughout my study and research journey at Hoa Sen University, I have received a lot of support from professors, lecturers, and fellow students. Here, I have not only acquired theoretical knowledge but also gained practical experience and diverse and relevant academic research. This is a significant milestone in my learning and research journey.”
The thesis defense panel, including Associate Professor Vo Thi Ngoc Thuy – Rector of Hoa Sen University, along with other faculty members holding leadership positions in various units, conducted a focused and fair assessment of the participating students’ research topics. Dr. Doan Minh Chau – Director of the Postgraduate Institute, shared the overall remarks of the defense panel: “The participating thesis topics have demonstrated the research capabilities and relentless learning efforts of the students. The works are closely related to the students’ work and carry high theoretical and practical significance.”
During the thesis defense session, the students confidently presented the content of their theses and responded to questions from the panel. Sharing her gratitude with the Postgraduate Institute of Hoa Sen University, New Master Mai Thanh Hoai, an MBA student of Batch 5 and currently the Head of Advisory Department at Ngoc Lop Oto Company, expressed her appreciation to the professors: “I sincerely thank the professors in the panel for their enthusiastic evaluation and feedback, which helped me improve my thesis. The questions raised by the professors opened up new ideas for me and allowed me to see the shortcomings in my thesis. I am especially honored by the presence of the Rector, despite her busy schedule.”
The research topics of the Business Administration master’s program students not only have practical applications but also include research works published in specialized scientific journals recognized by the State Professorship Council, such as the thesis “Analysis of factors influencing supplier selection decisions in the construction industry in Vietnam” by MBA student Batch 3, Ho Huynh Bao Tran, and the thesis “Customer perception of Cisco brand value in Vietnam” by MBA student Batch 7, Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy.
The MBA program at Hoa Sen University is designed to be completed within 18 months, not only enhancing professional knowledge but also equipping students with valuable career development skills, leadership thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
