On April 20, 2022, Hoa Sen University (HSU) collaborated with the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) to host a specialized training workshop titled “Mastering Niche Markets” for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Ho Chi Minh City. This initiative is one of many efforts by the university to support business education and human resource development within the city.
The specialized training workshop “Mastering Niche Markets,” jointly organized by HSU and ITPC, attracted nearly 100 businesses and industry associations in Ho Chi Minh City. Alongside the presence of Associate Professor, Dr. Vo Thi Ngoc Thuy – Rector of Hoa Sen University, and Mr. Nguyen Tuan – Deputy Director of ITPC, the workshop’s theme was guided by seasoned experts in consulting and niche market exploration. Through two main topics: “Overview of Niche Markets” presented by Speaker Hua Tat Dat – Strategic Advisor at Left Brain Connectors, and “Conquering Niche Markets in E-commerce” presented by Speaker Quan Vo – CEO of IMP, businesses engaged in vibrant discussions and shared strategies for tapping into niche market potentials, boosting business growth, and enhancing brand value.
Speaking at the event, Associate Professor, Dr. Vo Thi Ngoc Thuy, shared: “Hoa Sen University is honored to collaborate with ITPC in the field of business education. With our experience and reputation in education and training, along with an entrepreneurial and progressive spirit, HSU aims to expand its event portfolio, organize more specialized workshops to enhance skills for government officials, while also contributing high-quality human resources to the socio-economic development of the city.”
To meet the demand for enhancing professional knowledge and skills training for organizations and businesses, HSU has regularly implemented training programs, conducted short courses, and organized workshops for government officials on topics related to management and capacity building. On April 20, HSU also conducted the “ONE SHOT ONE HIT” English Skills Training Method Program for young leaders and officials from the Saigon Mechanical Engineering and Transportation Corporation – Joint Stock Company (SAMCO).
With the privilege of disseminating knowledge, HSU aims to continue accompanying the city in training officials and building a high-skilled workforce to contribute to the socio-economic development, especially in the post-COVID-19 recovery phase. In the upcoming period, the university will strengthen its relationships with agencies and departments to promote business education and training programs to entities within the city.
