Public diplomacy programming includes communication with international audiences, cultural programming, educational exchanges, trade promotion, regional security, English language programming, innovation in and improvement of education systems, promoting science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education, and promoting journalistic professionalism.
Application deadline: Vietnam Time, March 31, 2019 (11:59 p.m.) Through this funding opportunity the U.S. Consulate General aims to provide American Center patrons with high quality opportunities to learn and experience the new Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programs. Application deadline: Vietnam Time, March 31, 2019 (11:59 p.m.) Proposals should focus on at least one of the priority programs and target audiences as specified in the NOFO, for example English for journalists and media professionals, data journalism, investigative reporting, video storytelling, American journalism, “This week”, media literacy and podcasting. Application deadline: Vietnam Time, March 31, 2019 (11:59 p.m.) Proposals should focus on at least one of the priority women empowerment programs and target audiences as specified in the NOFO, for example professional skills, Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) and Business, media & arts, civil society, women in politics and governance, underprivileged and vulnerable groups. Application deadline: Vietnam Time, March 31, 2019 (11:59 p.m.) Through it, the U.S. Consulate General aims to provide American Center patrons with high quality opportunities to practice their English and to learn more about American culture. The program should be based on sound English Language Teaching pedagogy, combining some structured instruction along with ample time for speaking practice.
Application deadline: Vietnam Time, March 31, 2019 (11:59 p.m.) These grants aim to create opportunities for alumni to work together on a shared vision of a brighter future for Vietnam and the U.S. – Vietnam relationship by addressing shared concerns. Alumni of official U.S. exchanges can submit proposals as individuals or under the auspices of a non-profit organization in which alumni are working.
