SUMMARY OF THE 2024 INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL AND ART EXCHANGE EVENT

The 2024 International Cultural and Art Exchange Event concluded successfully, featuring special performances by art troupes from nine universities in Taiwan. This event not only served as an opportunity to promote cultural and artistic values but also acted as a bridge to strengthen educational cooperation and cultural exchange between Vietnam and Taiwan.

This year, Hoa Sen University (HSU) proudly hosted the event for the first time, with the support and trust of the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce. Despite taking on this significant responsibility for the first time, HSU left a lasting impression on international friends thanks to the professionalism of the Organizing Committee, the enthusiasm of Chinese Language students, and its modern facilities.

The event provided a vibrant cultural exchange platform with captivating performances, including traditional Chinese musical instruments such as the guzheng, pipa, erhu, as well as piano, guitar, and graceful Hakka dances from the Taiwanese art troupes. A highlight of the program was the presentation of Vietnamese culture in Chinese, delivered by HSU’s Chinese Language students. This was not only an opportunity for students to showcase their language proficiency but also a chance to introduce the beauty of Vietnamese culture to international friends, fostering a deep connection between the two cultures.

The event marked a significant milestone for Chinese Language students and reaffirmed the role of the Faculty of International Languages and Cultures in expanding international exchange opportunities. It is hoped that the success of this event will pave the way for further cooperation and development in the future, contributing to Hoa Sen University’s prominence in international cultural and educational exchange activities.
