SELECTION AND AWARDING OF THE “HSU CHINESE ELITE SCHOLARSHIP” FOR STUDENTS OF THE CHINESE LANGUAGE PROGRAM

The Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Ho Chi Minh City has awarded a scholarship fund totaling 50,000,000 VND to the “HSU Chinese Elite Scholarship,” designated for students majoring in Chinese Language at Hoa Sen University.

• Total Scholarship Value: 50,000,000 VND

• Number of Scholarships: 07

• Scholarship Value: The specific value of each scholarship will be determined by the Leadership Board of the Faculty of Languages and International Cultures, based on the evaluation of application documents.

• Scholarship Categories and Eligibility Criteria:

1. SCHOLARSHIP FOR STUDENTS WITH OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS

• Must be a full-time student enrolled in the Chinese Language program at Hoa Sen University;
• Must demonstrate exceptional academic performance, success in competitive exams, or active participation in relevant activities or competitions (evidenced by transcripts, certificates of merit, or photographic proof);
• Priority will be given to students who actively participate in academic, social, extracurricular, or community activities both within and outside the University (evidenced by certificates, awards, or photographic proof).

2. SCHOLARSHIP FOR STUDENTS WITH FINANCIAL HARDSHIP

• Must be a full-time student enrolled in the Chinese Language program at Hoa Sen University;
• Must come from a family facing financial difficulties, such as orphaned students, students from low-income households, remote or disadvantaged areas (with official confirmation from local authorities), or families affected by economic challenges (priority will be given to those with relevant confirmation from local authorities, banks, or related institutions);
• Must demonstrate resilience and a proactive approach to overcoming personal and family hardships;
• Priority will be given to students with good academic performance, success in competitive exams, or active participation in relevant activities or competitions (evidenced by transcripts, certificates of merit, or photographic proof);
• Priority will also be given to students who actively participate in academic, social, extracurricular, or community activities both within and outside the University (evidenced by certificates, awards, or photographic proof).

2. INTERVIEW ROUND (Details to be announced): Selected candidates from the Application Round will be invited for an interview with the Leadership Board of the Faculty of Languages and International Cultures for further evaluation and final decision.
