Professional Development Workshop #4

The Faculty of Languages- International Cultures is delighted to announce that Professional Development Workshop # 4 is taking place on Thursday, 2 March, 2023, Room 507, Nguyễn Văn Tráng Campus.   

The key presenters at Workshop # 4 are Đặng Nguyễn Ngân Hà (Senior student of the English Language Studies) and Dr Lê Đào Thanh Bình An (Lecturer of the Faculty of Languages and International Cultures). 

In the first section (9:00 am- 9:45 am), Đặng Nguyễn Ngân Hà will ‘revisit’ and discuss, through her perspective, the methodology and the interpretive framework that are inherent and underpin any research projects. 

The methodological wrap- up is inextricably linked with the second section (9:45 am- 12:00 pm), where Dr Lê Đào Thanh Bình An will highlight the complicated nature of working with qualitative data and demonstrate steps in using thematic analysis to manually analyse qualitative data. There will be time for a break in the middle and questions at the end of the presentation.  

Together, the discussion of the day should be helpful for lectures, students and other novel researchers who are interested in qualitative approaches.
