ANNOUNCEMENT OF CANDIDATE SELECTION FOR THE “CHINESE BRIDGE” COMPETITION 2025

The Chinese Language Club of Hoa Sen University (HSU) is pleased to announce the selection process for candidates to participate in the “Chinese Bridge 2025” competition—an academic and cultural exchange platform for students passionate about and studying the Chinese language. The “Chinese Bridge” competition is organized annually by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation, under the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, in Ho Chi Minh City.

By joining the competition, participants will not only have the opportunity to showcase their talents and knowledge of the Chinese language and culture but also engage in academic exchange with students majoring in Chinese from other universities. The competition is scheduled to take place in May 2025 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be HSU students with a Chinese proficiency level equivalent to HSK3 or higher.

Application Deadline: March 31, 2025

After registration, applicants will undergo a proficiency assessment conducted by Ms. Trần Thị Cẩm Tú, Vice Dean of the Faculty of International Languages and Cultures at HSU.

The three most outstanding candidates will be selected and provided with comprehensive training to prepare for the official competition round
