“ANH EM KIẾP NÀY” SHORT FILM PROJECT, PRODUCED BY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY STUDENTS, ACHIEVES TOP 5 CJ AND RECEIVES VND 300 MILLION FOR FILM PRODUCTION
Recently, within the framework of the CJ Short Film Project, “Anh Em Kiếp Này,” a short film project by a group of fourth-year students majoring in Media Technology Management at Hoa Sen University, has successfully surpassed 14 competitors in the project pitching round to enter the top 5, receiving a prize value of VND 300 million and other support packages to implement the project.
CJ Short Film Project 2023: A Platform for Nurturing Young Vietnamese Filmmakers, organized by the CJ Cultural Foundation in collaboration with CJ CGV Vietnam (CGV), boasts a prestigious judging panel composed of leading Vietnamese film industry experts. This esteemed competition serves not only as a reputable platform for aspiring Vietnamese filmmakers but also as a nurturing incubator, providing young talents with the necessary knowledge, funding, and international exposure to flourish in their filmmaking endeavors.
Exploring the universal theme of brotherhood and camaraderie in life, directors Vũ Hoàng Hiệp, a recent graduate of the program, and Tuấn Lê meticulously craft a relatable and authentic narrative that delves into the lives of their characters. Through their work, they unveil their personal philosophies and articulate the unspoken emotions that only true brotherhood can comprehend. The film crew is further enriched by the presence of producer Lý Phụng Nghi, a final-year student, whose meticulous planning ensures the project’s seamless execution.
