Position: Import-export purchasing officer
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Logistics & Import-Export
– Monitor the company’s import and export shipments, ensure documents are ready and accurate for manipulation on customs software, and customs declaration (within 24 hours).
– Get quotes, compare prices: freight, customs declaration costs,…
– Prepare contracts for contractors.
– Coordinate trucks and containers to pack goods and deliver them to designated locations according to relevant BP requirements.
– Set train or air schedules for shipments purchased from abroad.
– Check and confirm costs for each shipment to the contractor, make orders and make payments.
– Resolve incidents and complaints during goods transportation and import-export.
- Purchase
– Develop and search for domestic and international sources of goods at competitive prices according to management goals assigned.
– Ensure a stable source of goods, purchase goods on time, quantity and quality.
– Resolve problems and complaints during the purchasing process.
– Other tasks as assigned by the Department Head.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
– Graduated from University majoring in: foreign trade, logistics, foreign economics, import-export,…
– At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, strong in Logistics
– English: fluent, able to negotiate with professional foreign partners
– Knowledge of international trade and customs procedures
– Skills in organizing work, time management, and problem solving
*** Priority: know how to use SAP and have a certificate in customs declaration
