HOA SEN UNIVERSITY WORKS WITH HOA SEN GROUP, INCREASING INTERNSHIP AND WORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS

Recently, at the headquarters of Hoa Sen Group (District. Phu Nhuan, Ho Chi Minh City), the Board of Directors of Hoa Sen University had a meeting with leaders of Hoa Sen Group.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Vu Van Thanh – Deputy General Director of Hoa Sen Group, Hoa Sen University had Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Ngoc Thuy – Principal of the University, MSc. Nguyen Hai Ninh – Vice Rector and teachers and leaders representing both sides.

At the meeting, the Board of Directors of HSU and leaders of Hoa Sen Group discussed the development vision of both sides and at the same time presented a draft of cooperation between the two units.

Accordingly, Hoa Sen University with more than 30 years of development is a place to provide high-quality human resources, graduates not only have knowledge and skills but also good foreign languages and professional behavior. Meanwhile, Hoa Sen Group is the No. 1 enterprise in the field of steel sheet production and trading in Vietnam and a leading exporter of steel sheets in Southeast Asia with a series of subsidiaries and a system of more than 100 stores across the country. This will be a good working environment for HSU students.

At the meeting, the two sides agreed on several contents to go to cooperate such as an internship program, internship (2nd-year students onwards), recruitment cooperation program (students who are about to or have graduated), and research cooperation program. In particular, Hoa Sen Group will sponsor scholarships for students with excellent achievements and sponsor school-level competitions. In addition, HSU will organize skills training courses and thematic training for employees of Hoa Sen Group and issue certificates/certifications for qualified students.
