Training Course “Chronic Pain And Emotional Regulation”

From October 30 to November 1, 2018, the Department of Psychology – at Hoa Sen University organized the course “Psychotherapy for chronic pain disorders and emotional disorders”.
Professor-Doctor Howard Schubiner, Instructor of the course, has more than 32 years of experience practicing Medicine at Wayne University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. In 2003, he began to be interested in how the mind affects pain diseases, and until now the Professor has continuously researched and practiced extremely seriously, to find out the truth. Advanced practices and streamlined approaches to helping patients with chronic pain disorders.
With enthusiasm and humor, Professor Schubiner used very specific and vivid stories to convey knowledge about the brain and chronic pain to learners. In addition, learners are also guided in the principles and practice of intervention techniques for clients with chronic pain disorders.
Hoa Sen University Department of Psychology hopes that the course will bring many useful experiences to participants as well as contribute to the development of the profession and society in psychological care for people with chronic disorders.
