[RECAP] – WORKSHOP “Application of Allegory and Metaphor Analysis in Psychotherapy”
On July 3, the Psychology Program and the Institute for Psychological Research, Consultancy, and Counseling welcomed more than 150 participants from the Psychology community in Vietnam including professionals, practitioners, and students. Members come from many organizations, hospitals, and universities.
The program is led by Ph.D. student Linus Paul Frederic Guenther – Sigmund-Freud University, Berlin, Germany, and Master translator Nguyen Hong An – Director of the Psychology program shares about the application of Allegory Analysis, Metaphor in Psychotherapy from the perspective of an expert and graduate student.
Participants can experience the practice of analyzing the metaphor of the lotus image and discussing it with Mr. Linus Paul Frederic Guenther. Following the sharing session was a round table discussion with Master Tran Cam Thuy and Master Hoang Anh Vu, Psychologist Vuong Nguyen Toan Thien about the practice of psychology in Vietnam and the application of fables, and metaphor in practice.
