Hoa Sen University participates in the Alliance of Universities applying the community learning model in Vietnam
On May 12, 2018, in Hue, Dr. Nguyen Bao Thanh Nghi, Director of the General Education Program, represented Hoa Sen University in signing the Charter of the Alliance of Universities applying the Community Engaged Learning Alliance model in Vietnam (CELA). Master Truong Nguyen Bao Tran, who is in charge of coordinating the programs of the Service Learning Center at Hoa Sen University, has expanded his network and connected with many potential partners.

The alliance aims to create a national forum to implement collaborative programs between universities and the community, promoting the official implementation of Service-learning/ Community Engaged Learning in training programs at universities. learn. CELA is also expected to be a place to share experiences and initiatives at national and regional levels on learning models with the community.
Participating in this alliance, in addition to Hoa Sen University, there are universities and non-governmental organizations in the North, Central, and South regions, including Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, Ton University Duc Thang, Faculty of Tourism – Hue University, University of Civil Engineering, Da Nang University of Architecture, Hanoi University, LIN Community Development Support Center, Action Center for Urbanism and China Center for Research and Sustainable Development.
