Speaking at the event, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Dien – Principal of Hoa Sen University said that Vietnam has been deeply integrating into the international arena, along with the development of science, technology, and digital technology., the 4.0 era is opening up many opportunities for us and also posing many difficulties and challenges for all professions in society. No exception, the Law industry also needs to have appropriate changes and developments in the new era and the core is human resources with an open thinking system, full of knowledge, capacity, and qualities, Hoang Hoa University Sen decided to establish the Faculty of Law according to Decision No. 837/QD-DHHS dated May 7, 2020. With the motto Learning for Leadership, this is a gathering place for innovative scientific applications. innovation in teaching and learning methods, unleashing leadership thinking, creative research in jurisprudence, and developing and innovating public policy in fields such as justice, economics, environment, cyber security, e-commerce, intellectual property, administrative, criminal, international law and conventions, and human rights.

The Faculty of Law includes 02 majors: Economic Law and International Law, training 02 key majors: Digital Business Law and International Commercial Law, officially starting to enroll students for the first course in the 2021-2022 school year. In particular, the Faculty of Law – Hoa Sen University is proud to be the pioneering educational institution in the country to introduce Digital Business Law into teaching at the university level. This is not only a strategic step suitable for Vietnam’s development in the current context of international integration but also promises to solve the problem of high-quality human resources for the Law industry, as well as open up many options. Deputy Consul General of Hungary in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Rostás Gábor also sent warm congratulations to the Board of Directors of Hoa Sen University and all lecturers and staff of the Faculty of Law on this solemn event. Mr. Rostás Gábor also affirmed his belief that the development of the Faculty of Law under the Hoa Sen University brand will mark the good bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Hungary, which has a tradition of more than 70 years. The Deputy Consul wishes to bridge and promote more cooperation in education and training between Hoa Sen University and Hungarian Universities.

The ceremony took place solemnly and successfully with the ceremony of handing over the Decision to establish the Faculty of Law between representatives of the Board of Directors of Hoa Sen University – Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Dien – Rector and representative of the Faculty of Law – Dr. Nguyen Thi My Hanh, in the presence of guests and delegates, officially included the Faculty of Law in the list of 7 key faculties with 37 training majors that are and are expected to officially open in the 2021-2022 school year.
