Summary: Teaching social skills to preschool children with autism spectrum disorders is complex. To do this successfully, educators and parents must master the scientific basis of the educational and developmental processes they implement with their children. The article analyzes three important scientific perspectives that need to be considered in teaching social skills to preschool children with autism spectrum disorders: modeling and conveying social experiences according to Vygotsky, affirming success in Children’s work according to Skinner’s behaviorism, and the use of media according to the views of Hinz and Lusebrink.
