Summary: The study “Building a supplementary program to develop positive family relationships between 5-6-year-old children and Parents in Ho Chi Minh City Based on art therapy” was conducted and implemented over 2 years (2015 – 2016). The article presents important results of the above research topic, including theories about art therapy, supplementary programs, and positive family relationships; the Current status of supplementary programs to develop preschool education programs in Vietnam and the applicability of the research.
