CHRISTMAS BONFIRE – A COZY YEAR-END PARTY FOR PSYCHOLOGY TEACHERS AND STUDENTS

December 29, 2019

Last Sunday, December 22, Lecturers and Students of the Department of Psychology – at Hoa Sen University had a Semester 1 closing party with the theme of Christmas Bonfire. The party took place with the opening game “Search for a Mysterious Person” full of fun and excitement, and emotional and surprising musical performances from students and teachers in the Department. Not when the party afterward became even more exciting with a “super cute” quiz about the Lecturers.

However, the party also had extremely quiet moments when student representatives of each course shared their feelings to express gratitude to their teachers. With the keyword “Thank you”, the representative of K19 had a very lovely share with a very typical mindset that many Psychology students have experienced: expectations, expectations, initial surprises, confusion, and joyful feelings when being welcomed by the HSU Psychology family.

With the keyword “Lighthouse”, the K18 representative helped people reconsider the journey of pursuing their dreams and once again feel luck and happiness when finding a lighthouse in the middle of the vast ocean in the middle of ocean. the night. Those are the teachers, friends at the Department, and the majors that the departments are engaged in.

Finally, with the keyword “Sunbeams”, the representative of K17 had an interesting sharing by including awarding prizes for subjects in the semester such as most challenging subject, and most humorous subject,… You also shared very sincerely when saying “We are flowers on a thorny land but are cared for and developed by the rays of the sun, who are the Teachers.”

The party ended with an extremely profound and touching sharing from the Teachers and a meaningful message from the letter from the Head of the Department (you can read the letter here). In the letter, the Head of the Department emphasized the element “Responsibility”. Responsibility in Latin also means response: responding to invitations from life, from people around you, and yourself. In the letter, there is a famous quote from psychologist Victor Frankl: “Life asks questions for each person, and only that person can answer Life’s questions with his or her own life. The answer can only be answered with responsibility.” This is the most memorable part of the party that all students attending the party will remember forever.
