Information about the Australian Government Research Training Program
The Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP) at the Australian National University (ANU) is a prestigious scholarship funded by the Australian Department of Education, offering financial support to both domestic and international students pursuing postgraduate research programs.
This scholarship supports Master’s and PhD research at ANU, which is ranked #34 globally and #1 in Australia, with over 7.128 postgraduate students from around the world.

AGRTP Scholarship Benefits

- Applicants should find a supervisor with expertise in their field by reviewing their research and published works. HERE
- If the supervisor agrees to collaborate, the applicant must then apply for admission to the Master’s or PhD research program.
- The online application should include an agreement or invitation letter from the supervisor.

- After completing the application, they can select their desired scholarship, including the AGRTP, without needing to submit a separate application.
