Osaka University is one of the universities in Japan with a long tradition. The school was founded in 1939, but the school’s predecessor dates back to a long time ago – 1838. In addition to the name Osaka University, people also call the school Osaka City University, or Osaka Prefectural University. Over many years of operation, Osaka has become a school with top teaching quality in Japan.
Currently, Osaka University in Japan ranks 3rd in the ranking of the best schools in the land of cherry blossoms. Osaka ranks 68th in QS’s ranking of the world’s leading universities in 2023.
