Journey of Hoa Sen University Students participating in the Student Exchange Program at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands

Recently, students from Hoa Sen University (HSU) crossed the seas to their appearance in the Netherlands, the land of tulips and windmills, to participate in the Student Exchange Program (SEP) at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences. This is not only an educational program but also a significant international cooperation opportunity between the two universities.

Windesheim University of Applied Sciences is renowned for its personalized approach, with classes typically consisting of only 15 to 20 students, ranking among the top 3 applied Sciences Universities in the Netherlands.

The university warmly welcomed students from HSU. Throughout their participation in the SEP, HSU students not only engaged in academic studies but also immersed themselves in the various culture and student life in the Netherlands.

In addition to their academic commitments, students also have time to explore the beautiful Netherlands. With classes only two days a week, HSU students seize the chance to delve into the customs, cultures, and lifestyles of the locals. Moreover, they engage in cultural activities and travel within the Netherlands and neighboring countries. This not only expands their cultural knowledge but also creates memorable experiences in their learning journey in new territories.

Mr. Pham Gia Bao also noted that “I managed to allocate some wonderful time to visit Germany, Switzerland, France, and many other countries on days when I didn’t have to attend classes. I had incredibly interesting experiences exploring and immersing myself in the cultures of these countries”.

The SEP in the Netherlands is an incredibly interesting opportunity. Students not only engage in academic learning and experiential activities but also immerse themselves in the culture and connect with many international friends.

Apart from the SEP in the Netherlands, students can also explore other Students Exchange Programs offered by HSU in different countries. Through these programs, HSU students will be exposed to advanced learning environments and have the chance to collaborate and learn from other international students.

At SEP partner school, HSU students can participate in specialized classes, research projects, internships at local companies, as well as cultural and social activities to enhance their communication skills, socialize, and build friendships with the international student community. Participating in this program will undoubtedly provide students with memorable experiences and contribute to the development of a solid foundation for their personal and professional growth in the future.
