About the Speaker:
Dr. Duy Duong Tran, is currently an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the United States Naval Academy (USNA) and an affiliated faculty (Shen Lab), at Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Duong-Tran finds the workings of the human brain in health and disease conditions fascinating. As a Vietnamese American, Dr. Duong-Tran’s career has been embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
