“Educating the Eye” International Photography Contest
The municipality of Castell-Platja d’Aro proudly presents annual photography contests! From local challenges to prestigious international competition, there’s something for every photography enthusiast.
Calling all photographers—professionals and amateurs alike! Showcase your talent and creativity in this international contest, which in previous years has featured participants from up to 40 countries.
Deadline: Submit your entries by 9 June 2024.
Who May Enter
Open to all international photographers, both professional and amateur.
About contest:
Organized by the Photographic Association Educating the Eye in collaboration with the Library Mercè Rodoreda (Platja d’Aro, Spain).
Each photographer can submit up to two projects, each containing 6-12 photos. The theme is completely free, so let your creativity flow!
Entry Fee
Participation is free of charge.
Prizes:
- First Prize: €2,000;
- Second Prize: €1,000;
- Third Prize: €500;
- Prize for Young Author (under 35 years old): €1,000;
- Local Prize (for authors residing in the province of Girona): €750.
