Introducing

The Fully Funded University of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship is available to all nationals. This is a highly competitive award, and students of academic talent and caliber are strongly urged to apply. Brunei Darussalam University offers this grant to outstanding students who have excelled in their Master’s Degree and want to pursue PhD studies. This program has a duration of three years.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded University of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship are stated below:

• English is the required language.
• Eligible countries: All world countries.
• Have a second-class upper-honors Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree, with a strong publishing record.
• Requires a first-class honors Bachelor’s Degree and a distinction in a Master’s Degree or comparable certification.
• Capable of pursuing studies in desired fields.
• Provide high-impact and high-quality research proposals.
• All programs require applicants to have at least a credit 6 in English Language at GCE ‘O’ Level Examination, a grade ‘B’ in IGCSE English (as a Second Language), an IELTS score of 6.0, or a TOEFL minimum overall score of 550.

Benefits

The benefits of the Fully Funded University of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship are:

• Subsistence allowance of BND 500.00 per month for 36 months.
• Waived tuition, registration, and acceptance fees at the University of Brunei Darussalam.
• 36 months of on-campus housing.
• Field research allowances: BND 1000.00 for Arts and Humanities, BND 2000.00 for Science applicants.
• Candidates who do not reside in Brunei Darussalam will get a round-trip economy class air ticket from and back to their home country upon acceptance of the scholarship.

Upload the following documents in PDF form:

• Certified authentic copies of academic credentials [O Level, A Level, HND, etc.], university transcripts (if applicable), and English proficiency qualifications [IELTS, TOEFL, BEC, etc.].
• A passport that is valid for travel internationally.
• In-service applicants in the commercial and public sectors (except the Ministries of Education and Religious Affairs) must provide a letter of permission from their employers.
• For international applicants: a security clearance letter from the country of origin.
• Certified English translations of non-English documents must be presented.
• Confirm the information you provided and then submit your application.
