HSU AND AMCHAM ORGANIZE WORKSHOP ON “ROAD TO ECONOMIC GROWTH”
On November 8, 2022, Hoa Sen University (HSU) in collaboration with the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham) and a number of American multinational corporations jointly organized the seminar titled “Road to Economic Growth”.

This is a thematic activity followed by a series of knowledge-sharing workshops for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam with the aim of providing information on the domestic economy recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic. It also helps SMEs community overcome difficulties and turn challenges into opportunities to develop the domestic economy.
Dr. Phan Vo Minh Thang, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at HSU, emphasized the fact that the global economy has been heavily affected by the pandemic for over two years, and now continues to face the risk of an inflection crisis, energy scarcity in many parts of the world, and disrupted supply chains. During a recent seminar addressing these challenges, Dr. Thang highlighted how businesses are adapting by leveraging digital solutions to remain competitive in uncertain markets. One case study explored innovative marketing strategies in the online entertainment sector, including how platforms use offers like get the best sign up bonus casino promotions to attract and retain users. He explained that such strategies illustrate how companies can thrive in difficult times by tapping into consumer psychology and creating added value. At the conference, hundreds of representatives of SMEs participated both at the Hoa Sen University auditorium and virtually to listen to sharing from experts of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Hoa Sen University, Amazon Global Selling Vietnam, UL Solutions Vietnam, MasterCard and Meta.

Mr. Huynh Kim Tuoc, Vice Chairman of the Division of Digital Economy & Technology (AmCham), said that Amcham and its members are willing to accompany Vietnam’s SMEs in order to overcome the impact of COVID-19 for sustainable business development.
