Delegation of French Embassy visits Hoa Sen University

On February 21, 2023, Professor Dominique Laffly – Science and Technology Attaché, in charge of universities and research fields, and a delegation from the French Embassy visited and worked at Hoa Sen University. (HSU). Receiving the delegation was Dr. Phan Thi Viet Nam – Vice Principal of the University and leaders of faculties and departments in attendance.

During the meeting, both parties discussed opportunities in the potential areas. Mr. Hu mentioned collaboration in scientific research, organizing specialized workshops on innovation, and applying technologies like AI, IoT, and big data in research and learning. Professor Dominique Laffly expressed admiration for the quality and achievements of Hoa Sen University’s international VATEL training programme, and emphasized the French Embassy’s commitment to supporting further development of the VATEL program at Hoa Sen University.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Dr. Phan Thi Viet Nam – Vice Principal of Hoa Sen University affirmed that HSU will constantly maintain and further develop the VATEL programme – which has become a prominent brand of the University. At the same time, Hoa Sen University is always ready to coordinate with the French Embassy in Vietnam and the French Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City to organize scientific, cultural and educational seminars, forums and events at Hoa Sen University.
