HSU Launches Competition “Future Designers & Innovators 2023”

In order to create a playground for high school students in the field of artistic creativity, the Faculty of Design & Art, Hoa Sen University (HSU) organized the contest “Future Designers & Innovators 2023” with the theme: “Shining with passion”.

The contest is an academic playground, giving students the opportunity to be creative, promote their talents, shine and win scholarships to study at the head school with a total value of more than 130,000,000 VND.

Creativity, long considered the “responsibility” of the right brain, is related to the arts. However, for today’s world, creativity exists everywhere, in every field and industry. Creativity is the key for young people to open the door to their future, helping them to be confident and proactive on their career path. The competition with more than 5 seasons has discovered and raised talents with valuable scholarships, helping young people to orient their creativity and enter the profession professionally. Mai Quyet Thang – Lecturer of the Faculty of Design & Art, Hoa Sen University – Head of the organizing committee of the evaluation contest: “In the face of a lot of information flooded on social networks, I appreciate that today’s young people are people with great creative ability. However, the line between being creative to shine and creating unhealthy content is actually quite thin. Through the contest: “Future Designers & Innovators 2023” with the theme “shining with passion”, we will orient the students, and help them perfect their ideas, give them wings to enter the professional academic path in the field of creativity and art. As long as students have ideas, the contest and professional advisors of Hoa Sen University will help them perfect their ideas and shine. In addition, we want high school students to understand and appreciate the importance of their own future creativity, so that society has a really potential future workforce, competing with global human resources”.

Detailed information about the exam:

Come up with creative ideas on whatever topics you love, in the following categories:

DESIGN: Designing costumes, space models, drawings, posters, comics.

MEDIA: Video clips, short films, media, advertisements, documentaries, scripts, reportages..

A few suggestions:

Propose ideas:

Fashion design, a piece of clothing with your favorite theme
Redesign your room or house
Design a poster to introduce the school you are studying
Draw comic
Musical script, short film, reportage…

The contest will take place from now until the end of May 2023, whereby, candidates can submit their entries to compete in the selection round before April 15. 10 candidates with excellent entries will be selected for the mentoring round, work with talented lecturers to perfect their work and compete in the final in May for a chance to receive valuable scholarships with a total value of 130 million VND and become a student of Hoa Sen University.
