Hoa Sen University welcomes international students to exchange study
On March 17, 2023, Hoa Sen University (HSU) welcomed a delegation of international students to exchange studies. There are more than 30 international students coming to study this semester from many countries such as Belgium, France, India, Sweden…
Attending the welcome ceremony were Ms. GASGET Emilie, representative from Excelia Group France, MSc. Nguyen Van Thuan – Vice President of the Institute of Training and International Cooperation with lecturers and students of HSU.
At the meeting, international students were introduced to the rules and notes related to academic issues (exam regulations, time to attend classes), instructions on how to access the HSU system to view information related to study, grades, timetables, …..At the same time, introduce international student support services (psychological counseling, health care, union activities, associations, sports/volunteer/study; housing support for students…
In particular, COURBERBAISSE Thomas – International student who participated in the exchange last semester shared with new members about the study environment at HSU: “Hoa Sen is a good environment, you will learn a lot of things while studying here. Travel a lot, enjoy your time in Vietnam because a semester is very short, only a few months, and remember to spend time participating in activities at Hoa Sen!”
International students have a “city tour” on the first day of their arrival at HSU.
Specially, on the first day of admission at Hoa Sen University, international students had a “city tour” at places in the center of Ho Chi Minh City. Accordingly, they are “tour guide” by HSU staff and students to visit famous places such as: Nguyen Van Binh Book Street, City Post Office – Notre Dame Cathedral – Nguyen Hue Walking Street – City Museum…In addition, they can also enjoy Saigon street food, get acquainted with Vietnamese culture and people.
City tour is one of the familiar activities for international students on the occasion of “Orientation Day” to help them understand more about Saigon, thereby, soon adapt to the new life and integrate into the learning environment at Hoa Sen.
Accordingly, international students will officially start studying at HSU from March 20, 2023. Wish you will have a great experience at HSU.
