Green Summer Campaign: Hoa Sen Spreads Volunteerism

Overview:

Green Summer Campaign is an annual volunteer campaign by Viet Nam Union of Students at Hoa Sen University (HSU), held every summer. The campaign aims to encourage students to participate in volunteer activities, contribute to the community, and develop themselves.

Green Summer Campaign 2023, themed “Hoa Sen Spreads Volunteerism,” took place from July to August 2023 with the participation of over 1,000 HSU students. These dedicated volunteers visited remote and disadvantaged areas nationwide to carry out meaningful volunteer activities.

Achievements:

Green Summer Campaign 2023 achieved remarkable outcomes:

Construction and restoration of 10 charity homes and 05 rural bridges.

Organized health check-ups and provided free medicine to over 5.000 people.

Conducted educational and recreational activities for children.

Collaborated with local authorities to organize campaigns on environmental protection, road safety, etc.

Activities within Green Summer Campaign 2023 included the following main activities:
