CaRes Program Assistant

The CaRes Program Assistant will report directly to the Program Manager. This position is a local (not expat), full-time contract position to end in December 2022 with the option for renewal pending funding availability. This position is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of program activities to achieve goals, objectives, and targets within budget, including workshops, tra; assist at events & trainings for project beneficiaries
  • Conduct research on stakeholders and information/data related to project goals
  • Assist in writing content for social media/website, periodic and final program/project reports, annual reports, and other documents
  • Support data collection for documentation and reporting purposes (database, data input/cleaning)
  • Other tasks as assigned
  • Work will involve some evenings and weekends to accommodate US team & meetings in Europe

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years (full-time) of grassroots or nonprofit/NGO experience and prior experience in advocacy, empowerment, and capacity building activities preferred. If you do not meet this requirement, please consider applying to our 6-month internship program.
  • Willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Technology-oriented; excellent computer skills including MS Office, Excel, VBA, MySQL
  • Flexible, goal-oriented, demonstrated aptitude for change and learning
  • Fluent in Vietnamese; English level at IELTS 7.0 level equivalent
  • Ability to multi-task, stay focused and handle pressure
  • Ability to prosper in a team environment
  • Ethical and accountable; ability to maintain confidentiality a MUST
  • Bachelor degree required
