The Heritage Tourism class, under the guidance of Lecturer Tran Ngoc Tien, recently had a fascinating midterm exam in Vinh Long Province.
The students took on the role of tour guides, providing commentary on the origin and characteristics of the traditional music genre called “Don ca tai tu” in Southern Vietnam, recognized as UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage. Additionally, they experienced a night of traditional “Don ca tai tu” music in a profoundly historical setting. It is hoped that after this exam, the 38 students in the Heritage Tourism class will gain a deeper understanding of preserving the values of traditional craft villages and developing sustainable tourism products.
In the Travel and Tourism Management Program at Hoa Sen University, the faculty strives to provide students with real-world experiences through domestic and international trips, enhancing practical knowledge and passion for their future careers.
