How DMUers Celebrate Christmas 2024 Meaningfully and Practically?
DMUers celebrated Christmas together with many interesting activities on December 23. With the theme “European Christmas Market” and the criteria Dynamic – Mirthful – Unique, DMU students experienced a day of both work and play with unique booths designed by themselves. This Christmas program is also a place for students to enjoy the festive atmosphere and an opportunity to connect, share and preserve memorable moments. Let’s explore the outstanding activities on this special holiday!
1. DMUers run their own booths at the European Christmas Market
This is the most interesting highlight of this Christmas festival. The Christmas booths are run by DMU students themselves, from logistics, operations, to marketing and communication for their products. Students have the opportunity to apply the knowledge they have learned into practice, in line with the core value of “Practical learning – Practical practice” at Hoa Sen – De Montfort.

2. DMUers confidently perform at the European Christmas Market
The Christmas atmosphere was bright from the very first moments with the vibrant performance of “Santa Claus” – student Railey from the Philippines. Transforming into Santa Claus, Railey brought a fun and energetic performance. In addition, the program also featured the musical talents of DMU students. The melodious piano pieces and indispensable classic Christmas songs such as Jingle Bells or Silent Night stirred up the atmosphere and brought unforgettable moments.
3. Leaders of the Institute of International Education present Christmas gifts to DMU students
The warm and meaningful atmosphere of the festival was pushed to its climax when the leaders of the International Training Institute appeared and personally handed out gifts to the students. President Ho Truc Vi and two vice presidents, Mr. Phu Truong Thang and Mr. Nguyen Phi Long, presented small but meaningful gifts, along with sincere wishes to the students. This action was not only a concern from the leaders but also demonstrated the solidarity and encouragement for all students during the festival season.
