DMUers Experience a Field Trip at THT Cargo Logistics
With the goal of developing practical skills and knowledge, recently, students of the International Business major of De Montfort University – Hoa Sen Vietnam had a study session at THT Cargo Logistics. The trip gave them the opportunity to experience a real working space and learn directly from leaders in the logistics industry.
1. DMUers meet the guidance team and learn about THT Cargo Logistics
The session started with an introduction to THT Cargo Logistics. Here, Hoa Sen – De Montfort students were met and welcomed by the guidance staff from the company. The team introduced in detail the history, goals, and main areas of operation of THT Cargo Logistics, from transportation services, supply chain management to integrated logistics solutions. This sharing not only helped students understand the company but also grasp the development trends of the logistics industry.
2. DMUers visit departments and interact with THT Cargo Logistics staff
After the introduction, DMU students were led to visit departments in the company. From the operations department, warehouse management department, to the customer support department, each department has its own role and task, contributing to the overall success of the company. In each department, students have the opportunity to interact and exchange directly with staff from each department. The sharing of the seniors helps students better understand the daily work, internal coordination processes and the necessary skills to work effectively in the industry.
3. DMUers meet and participate in an in-depth Q&A session with the Founder & CEO of THT Cargo Logistics
One of the highlights of the trip was the meeting with Ms. Celine – Nguyen Thi Le Thu, Founder & CEO of THT Cargo Logistics. With extensive knowledge and rich experience in the field of international business and logistics, Ms. Celine conveyed many valuable lessons to the students. She shared about the challenges and opportunities in the industry, as well as the skills that young people need to cultivate if they want to develop a career in this field. The lively Q&A session gave students many practical perspectives, while helping them to have a clearer direction for their future studies and careers.
4. Conclusion
The field trip at THT Cargo Logistics brought Hoa Sen – De Montfort students a lot of useful knowledge and rich experiences. From learning about the operating process of a logistics enterprise to interacting with the staff and founder, each activity helped students approach knowledge from a practical perspective. This is an important stepping stone for students to not only master the theory but also confidently apply it to the working environment later.
