The university enrolls students from all academic disciplines based on their 2024 high school exam results and various admission tests, following the guidelines set by the Ministry of Education and Training and determined by the School Admissions Council.

Applicants have the option to select one of the three following pathways:

1. Admission based on Academic Performance (Transcripts) over three years of high school, excluding the second semester of grade 12. An average score of 6.0 or above across all subjects in grades 10, 11, and the first semester of grade 12 is required for each subject area (scores rounded to one decimal place). The admission score must meet or exceed the minimum entrance quality standard determined by the School.
2. Admission based on Academic Results (Transcripts) of 03 years of high school: Average score of subjects in 10th grade, 11th grade and 12th grade is 6.0 points or higher for all majors.
3. Admission based on Academic Results (Transcript) of high school, focusing on a set of three subjects. A combined average score of 6.0 or above across these three subjects is required for all majors. The admission score must meet or exceed the specified entrance quality assurance threshold established by the School.

Aside from admission through the competency assessment exam for Ho Chi Minh City National University, the institution also considers results from the competency assessment exam for Hanoi National University in 2024. Candidates must achieve a minimum score of 600 points in the exam for all majors.
