Celebrating Vietnamese Teachers’ Day November 20 with Meaningful Activities at De Montfort University – Hoa Sen Vietnam
Vietnamese Teachers’ Day November 20 is an opportunity for students to express their deep gratitude to teachers – the dedicated “ferryman” on the journey of knowledge. This year, De Montfort University – Hoa Sen Vietnam organized a series of meaningful activities, leaving an unforgettable impression in the hearts of teachers and students. From creating knowledge trees together, sending handwritten cards to emotional music performances, each activity is a sincere gratitude to teachers.
1. Create a “Knowledge Tree” – Expressing gratitude through each leaf
To honor and express deep gratitude to teachers, students of the Hoa Sen – De Montfort program together created a unique “knowledge tree”. Without using written words or sentences, each student left their fingerprints on the leaves, creating a work rich in symbolic meaning. Each fingerprint color represents the diversity of personality, as well as gratitude towards the lecturers.
The tree of knowledge with each leaf is the mark of the students, becoming a beautiful symbol of the teacher-student relationship, of the journey of learning and growing up under the dedicated guidance of teachers. This is the way for students to send their most sincere gratitude, even without any words, but still spreading strong emotions.
In particular, the Principal’s fingerprint is placed at the corner of the tree root, as a symbol of her fundamental and pivotal role in the development of the International Training Institute. Her mark is not only a firm commitment to leading the school but also conveys a message of persistent and dedicated support for each generation of students. Thanks to her guidance and the teaching staff, the “tree of knowledge” continues to grow, a living testament to the maturity and success of the students.
2. DMU students give heartfelt handwritten cards to lecturers
On this special day, many students of the DMU program took the time to write and decorate greeting cards for their teachers. Each card has its own style, with emotional messages. This is not only a spiritual gift but also shows the students’ appreciation for the efforts and dedication of lecturers in each lesson.
3. Emotional piano performance of “Người thầy” from DMU students
One of the highlights of this year’s 20/11 gratitude activities is the special musical performance from Phuong Anh, a student of K24 of the DMU program. She represented all students to send the song “The Teacher” to their teachers with an emotional performance. Each melody is like a deep and sincere thank you that Phuong Anh and the students want to send to their teachers.
4. Warm wishes to lecturers through the interview
On this occasion, students also sent their wishes to teachers through a short but meaningful interview. Each wish and each story shared by students is not only a gratitude but also shows the love and respect that students have for lecturers – those who have been accompanying them on the path of learning.
Let’s join us in the warm atmosphere of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day through emotional moments! The video records the piano performance of the song “The Teacher” by Phuong Anh – a student of K24 DMU, along with sincere wishes from students to teachers.
