Online site visit of AUN-QA program assessment
Hoa Sen University welcomed the AUN-QA Assessor Team for the site visit assessment for 3 programs via the online platform.
After the self-assessment process, Hoa Sen University was honored to welcome the AUN-QA Assessor Team to officially assess 3 programs, namely Information Technology, Interior Design, and Restaurant Management. Due to COVID-19, the assessment has been taken by online meetings.

The 218th AUN-QA Assessor Team worked diligently from June 14 to 18, 2021. The assessment involved working sessions with the self-assessment team (SAR team), interviews with stakeholders such as lecturers, staff, students, alumni, employers, etc., and visits to facilities. The whole assessment was organized through the online platform.

The Assessor Team has identified several strengths of the programs after the 5-day assessment. These strengths include the seamless integration of the university’s vision, mission, and educational philosophy into the programs and regular updates of programs based on feedback from different stakeholders like employers, alumni, lecturers, and students. The programs boast highly qualified and experienced lecturers who are dedicated to teaching and are enthusiastic about their students. Additionally, the programs have high graduate employment rates, diverse teaching and assessment methods throughout the study process, collaborations between programs and businesses to create internships and field visit opportunities for students, highly rated English proficiency of students and alumni, and a wide range of student support services.

The assessors have provided some valuable feedback to improve the quality of the programs. They recommended strengthening exchange programs, promoting global engagement, offering more English-taught courses, and encouraging more extracurricular activities to foster the holistic development of students. These helpful comments and recommendations are expected to play a crucial role in enhancing the academic quality of Hoa Sen University.

Previously in 2019, Hoa Sen University had 2 programs successfully assessed by AUN-QA, which are English Language Studies and Hotel Management.
