DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Support Desk requires a 24 x 7 presence, which means that occasional on call/out of hours working will be required. This will be on a pre-defined rotation basis.
The engineer will react quickly and proactively to customer support tickets and calls, escalating promptly when required.
The engineer will attain Certification status for Elastic products (ELK) and maintain the certification throughout their tenure at Tahi.
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Excellent general IT skills (Microsoft Office products, Atlassian JIRA, Servicedesk.)
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines/SLAs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Website (Wordpress) development and maintenance skills.
Monitoring and maintenance of VPNs (IPSec and OpenVPN.)
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Self-starter with an ability to work remotely without supervision.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
